Oh gosh….this is just too darn funny! For some odd reason, I managed to somehow hit the ‘publish’ button when all I had done thus far was to copy and paste today’s word prompt link. Talk about taking the day’s word of ‘Unfinished ‘ literally. Yikes! I must admit that I am still laughing as I look at my WordPress site and see, “Words To Live By” with an empty page minus the word ‘unfinished’. Nothing like leaving it to the reader’s imagination, huh?!?
Hmmm. Do you think that the universe is trying to tell me something? Maybe today was meant to be a fill-in-the-blank entry? Or, maybe I should just leave well enough alone and get on with the rest of my night? To be fair here, I think I have alluded to my lack of technology expertise once or twice before. All I can say is, “Good thing for the ‘Edit This’ button.” Hopefully by the time you read this, all is included with this post. And so, I shall persevere and forge ahead with my original idea.
We all know that life gets busy and that some things do not get done out of necessity of other things that must. Plus, there is the reality that there is only so much that we can fit into our twenty-four hour days. Now, I don’t know about you, but likely most of us would agree that keeping our priorities straight helps when deciding what makes the top of our to-do list vs. those items which don’t. Certainly, time spent with loved ones should be at the top of the list regardless of the never-ending piles of laundry, dirty dishes and dust bunnies. And, no matter what else comes your way, never pass up the opportunity to indulge yourself a little each and every day. For me, aside from admiring sunrises and sunsets and ‘jibber-jabbering’ the evening away with my husband, my indulgence usually involves a little taste of chocolate in some way, shape, or form, which brings me to this ultimate piece of wisdom:
NEVER EVER, under any circumstances, LET A HOME-MADE CHOCOLATE BANANA MUFFIN GO UNFINISHED:-).

Lol! That’s hilarious Sue though I must say that I have done that myself and then rushed to fix it before anyone noticed. Yours was a little more poetic considering the prompt. And I definitely would not leave a homemade chocolate banana muffin unfinished either. That sounds delicious. My niece made some yummy pumpkin banana muffins this past weekend. Not one of those were left either. Have a great week!!!
