Very interesting! This morning, I awoke to find that the gorgeous, warm sun has actually made a somewhat rare appearance during this weeklong stretch of bitterly cold, windy, otherwise overcast weather. Though the snow initially came early for us this year, we have managed to stay above the average temperatures for the month of November, with just one tinsy problem….very little sunshine!! Now, I can’t speak for you, but I can handle just about anything weather-wise when it’s sunny out, and yes, that includes snow and the snapping cold. So, it was a real treat to awake earlier and discover not only light on what seems like a brand New Horizon, but also a really cool frost pattern on our dining room window outlining the trees in the ravine behind our home. I can only hope that my picture captures at least some of the crystal-like beauty reminding one that even in the darkest of times, there is always a bright side–even if in the smallest of places or things.
Brrr makes me shiver 🙂

Wonderful! It could be floating feathers drifting down past the window!

It was so pretty, and the photos that I managed to take later in the morning showcased the patterns even better– https://wordpresscom34070.wordpress.com/2016/12/09/enlightened-by-frost-and-moose-part-two/ –if you’re interested. Thank you for your comment!
