Once There Were Three Moose

Three moose

There once was a family of moose,

Who were running around on the loose,

Luckily for us, we were watching from afar,

As monstrous in size is what they surely are,

Happy to have them over for a visit,

Their unique looks are really quite exquisite,

National symbols of Canada beyond a shadow of a doubt,

Bearing extra long lips on their rather large snouts,

With a shoulder hump here and long ears there,

They walk about with a very noticeable flair,

The bull grows and sheds antlers but once a year,

Be careful, you don’t want to get too near!

The practice of social distancing at its best,

That we should get to see them at all,

We feel blessed.
