Catch of the Day

Let’s have a little fun with our many ‘fishy’ sayings:

Here I am feeling like a Fish out of water over the big one that got away,

Since I had no bigger fish to fry, I had gone fishin’ for the day,

Not fishing for a compliment, though that could surely be,

Big Fish, little fish, plenty of fish in the sea for me,

But, hook, line and sinker, something was a little fishy,

Am I just a little fish in a big pond or as slippery as a fish in a dish?

Perhaps if I could swim like a fish, I’d already have my catch of the day.
