This unique reflection was taken by my keen-eyed husband while we were sight-seeing in Yoho National Park, BC, Canada a few years ago. After flipping my sunglasses onto my head to take in a better view of the ‘Natural Bridge’ at the Kicking Horse River, a place wherein rushing mountain water cascades through a worn hole in the rock, my husband asked me to remain still. As it turned out, I happened to be standing in such a fashion that a near perfect image of our surroundings was reflected in my lens. I would have never taken notice of such a thing, but he did and I am glad. I think it is just one of those really ‘cool’ happenstance pictures which proves that it pays to take notice of EVERYTHING around you. At the bottom of this post, I have included another picture that my husband had taken on a previous occasion of the very same area that we were standing in, so that you can get an idea of just how marvelous this Canadian Heritage River site is with a straight on view. Enjoy!
May you take special notice of your surroundings in the coming week. Cheers:-).
The sunglasses—that is one cool photo.
